My New Life After Life
This is my capstone project for Ada Developers Academy which was completed within three weeks.
My New Life After Life is a stat-rising game, depending on what stats you (player) were able to collect for a year - you get a different ending. Inspired by a few stat-rising games such as Long Live the Queen, Growing Up: Life of the ’90s, and Princess Maker. Honestly, I just wanted to make an isekai-themed game.
Concept
For some unexpected twist of an event (common themes are getting hit by a truck-san, passing out from working overtime, being struck by lightning, etc) - you are now transported to a whole new fantasy world.
Schedule out your day! Make your new life in this new world. Will you work at a nearby fishery? Are you going to train healing magic? Or spend some time traveling? All your choices will affect your stats.
At the end of one year, your total stats will determine your ending!
Features
- There is a total of 8 sprites to pick as your character!
- Plan out your month by clicking on the activity in the Schedule Panel. Hovering over an activity will give you details on what stats the activity increases.
- You can delete a scheduled activity by clicking it under the current schedule (right side of the Schedule Panel).
- Currently, we have the following Activities: Cardio, Archery, Dark Magic, Light Magic, Sword, Mining, Fishing, and Rest.
- You will need to schedule the entire month before you can proceed by clicking on the Month Start button.
